Health, Wellness & Beauty Writing

I write long-form articles, too.

I got my start writing beauty articles. Interviewing wellness influencers, fitness gurus, plastic surgeons, scientists, and one former Bravo Housewife, I learned how to ask the right questions, pitch ideas, and structure editorial writing.

In addition to all my learning, a personal essay on womens’ health and my experience with a teratoma tumor that went viral. The article surpassed Kardashian coverage, was translated in 5 different languages, and landed me a segment on the Today Show.

Shortly after my article went live, a Netflix TV show used a teratoma tumor as a plot point. I’m not saying they were influenced by my article, but I’m not not saying that.

The beauty about writing is you can write about beauty.

From interviews with plastic surgeons to former Bravo Housewives, I’ve written about it. But it wasn’t the article on 8 Self-Care Tips To Make Taxes Less Taxing that went viral, it was a personal essay about my experience with a teratoma tumor and the greater outlook on womens’ healthcare that resonated across the internet. The article surpassed Kardashian coverage, was translated in 5 different languages, and landed an interview segment on the Today Show.

Shortly after my personal essay gained traction and appeal across media platforms, a Netflix TV show used a teratoma tumor as a plot point. I’m not saying they were influenced by my article, but I’m not not saying that.
